«الضبع صيد فكلها وفيها كبش مسن إذا أصابها المحرم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The hyena is game, so eat it; and if a person in the state of ihram kills it, a mature ram is due from him (as compensation)."
