«صلاة الرجل قائما أفضل من صلاته قاعدا وصلاته قاعدا على النصف من صلاته قائما وصلاته نائما على النصف من صلاته قاعدا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man's prayer standing is better than his prayer sitting, his prayer sitting carries half (the reward) of his prayer standing, and his prayer lying down carries half (the reward) of his prayer sitting."
