«صدقة الفطر صاع من تمر أو صاع من شعير أو مدان من حنطة عن كل صغير وكبير وحر وعبد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Sadaqat al-Fitr is one sa' of dates, or one sa' of barley, or two mudds of wheat, on behalf of every young and old, free and slave."
