«السراويل لمن لا يجد الإزار والخف لمن لا يجد النعلين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever cannot find a waist-wrapper (izar) may wear trousers, and whoever cannot find sandals may wear leather socks (khuffs)."
