«رغم أنف رجل ذكرت عنده فلم يصل علي ورغم أنف رجل دخل عليه رمضان ثم انسلخ قبل أن يغفر له ورغم أنف رجل أدرك عنده أبواه الكبر فلم يدخلاه الجنة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"May the nose of that man be rubbed in the dust (in disgrace) in whose presence I was mentioned and he did not send blessings upon me; may the nose of that man be rubbed in the dust upon whom Ramadan came and then passed before he was forgiven; and may the nose of that man be rubbed in the dust whose parents reached old age in his presence and yet they did not cause him to enter Paradise."
