«خير ماء على وجه الأرض ماء زمزم فيه طعام من الطعم وشفاء من السقم وشر ماء على وجه الأرض ماء بوادي برهوت بقبة حضرموت كرجل الجراد من الهوام تصبح تتدفق وتمسي لا بلال بها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam; in it there is nourishment and healing from illness. And the worst water on the face of the earth is the water of the valley of Barhut in the region of Hadramawt; it is full of vermin like a swarm of locusts. In the morning it gushes forth, and by evening not a drop remains in it."
