«خيركم قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم ثم يكون بعدهم قوم يخونون ولا يؤتمنون ويشهدون ولا يستشهدون وينذرون ولا يوفون ويظهر فيهم السمن»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of you is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then after them there will be people who will betray and will not be regarded as trustworthy, who will give testimony though their testimony is not sought, who will make vows but not fulfil them, and obesity will appear among them."
