«خير ثيابكم البياض فكفنوا فيها موتاكم وألبسوها أحياءكم وخير أكحالكم الإثمد ينبت الشعر ويجلو البصر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of your garments is white, so shroud your dead in it and clothe your living in it. And the best of your kohl is ithmid; it makes the hair grow and sharpens the eyesight."
