«خير الناس ذو القلب المحموم واللسان الصادق قيل: ما القلب المحموم؟ قال: هو التقي النقي الذي لا إثم فيه ولا بغي ولا حسد قيل: فمن على أثره؟ قال: الذي يشنأ الدنيا ويحب الآخرة قيل: فمن على أثره؟ قال: مؤمن في خلق حسن»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best person is the one whose heart is pure and whose tongue is truthful." It was asked: "What is a pure heart?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the God-fearing, pure heart in which there is no sin, no transgression and no envy." It was asked: "Then who comes after him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who is averse to this world and loves the Hereafter." It was asked: "Then who comes after him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer with good character."
