«إذا استأذن على الرجل وهو يصلي فإذنه التسبيح, وإذا استأذن على المرأة وهي تصلى فإذنها التصفيق»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When permission is sought from a man while he is praying, his granting of permission is to say Subhan Allah, and when permission is sought from a woman while she is praying, her granting of permission is to clap."
