«حق المرأة على الزوج أن يطعمها إذا طعم ويكسوها إذا اكتسى ولا يضرب الوجه ولا يقبح ولا يهجر إلا في البيت»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The right of the wife over the husband is that he feeds her when he himself eats, clothes her when he himself dresses, does not strike the face, does not revile her, and if he must express his displeasure, he does so only within the home."
