«بينما كلب يطيف بركية كاد يقتله العطش إذ رأته بغي من بغايا بني إسرائيل فنزعت موقها فاستقت له به فغفر لها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A dog was circling around a well, and thirst had almost killed it, when a prostitute from among the prostitutes of the Children of Israel saw it. She took off her leather sock, drew water with it and gave it to drink, and she was forgiven because of this (good) deed."
