«بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وحج البيت وصوم رمضان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The edifice of Islam has been built upon five things: bearing witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, paying zakah, performing Hajj to the House of Allah, and fasting in Ramadan."
