«ابدأ بنفسك فتصدق عليها فإن فضل شيء فلأهلك فإن فضل شيء عن أهلك فلذي قرابتك فإن فضل عن ذي قرابتك شيء فهكذا وهكذا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Begin with yourself and give charity (that is, spend) on yourself. Then if anything remains, on your family; if anything remains after them, on your close relatives; and if anything still remains after spending on your relatives, then spend like this and like this, to the right and to the left (on other people in need)."
