«الأيدي ثلاثة فيد الله العليا ويد المعطي التي تليها ويد السائل السفلى فأعط الفضل ولا تعجز عن نفسك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hands are of three kinds: the hand of Allah Almighty is the highest, the hand of the giver comes after it (in rank), and the hand of the one who asks is the lowest. So give away the surplus wealth (beyond your need), and do not make yourself helpless (that is, do not make yourself needy)."
