«الاستجمار توٌّ ورمي الجمار توّ والسعي بين الصفا والمروة توٌّ والطواف توٌّ وإذا استجمر أحدكم فليستجمر بتوٍّ»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Cleaning oneself with stones is to be done in an odd number, stoning the Jamarat is odd, the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah is odd, and the Tawaf of the House of Allah is odd. So when any of you cleans himself with stones, let him use an odd number of stones."
