"أيما داع دعا إلى ضلالة فاتبع فإن عليه مثل أوزار من ¤ اتبعه ولا ينقص من أوزارهم شيئا وأيما داع دعا إلى هدى فاتبع فإن له مثل أجور من اتبعه ولا ينقص من أجورهم شيئا"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any caller who calls to misguidance and is followed, upon him will be sins equal to the sins of all those who followed him, and nothing will be reduced from their (the followers') sins. And any caller who calls to guidance and is followed, for him will be a reward equal to the rewards of all those who followed him, and nothing will be reduced from their (the followers') rewards."
