«إياكم والوصال إنكم لستم في ذلك مثلي إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني فاكلفوا من العمل ما تطيقون»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Beware of wisal (continuous fasting without eating or drinking anything in between). Indeed, you are not like me in this; I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me to drink. So take upon yourselves only as much of deeds as you are able to bear."
