"إياكم والظن فإن الظن أكذب الحديث ولا ¤ تجسسوا ولا تحسسوا ولا تنافسوا ولا تحاسدوا ولا تباغضوا ولا تدابروا وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا ولا يخطب الرجل على خطبة أخيه حتى ينكح أو يترك"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech. Do not search for one another's faults, do not eavesdrop, do not vie with one another, do not envy one another, do not hate one another, and do not turn your backs on one another. O servants of Allah, be brothers to one another. And let no man propose marriage over his brother's proposal until he marries or leaves her."
