«إنما سمي القلب من تقلبه إنما مثل القلب مثل ريشة بالفلاة تعلقت في أصل شجرة يقلبها الريح ظهرا لبطن»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The heart (qalb) is called qalb because of its turning over and over (taqallub). The likeness of the heart is that of a bird's feather in a barren plain, caught at the root of a tree, which the wind keeps turning over, top to bottom."
