«إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به فإن أمر بتقوى الله وعدل فإن له بذلك أجرا وإن أمر بغيره فإن عليه وزرا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Imam (ruler) is but a shield behind which fighting is done and by means of which protection (from the enemy) is sought. So if he commands the fear of Allah and acts with justice and fairness, he will have a reward for that (deed), and if he commands something other than that, he will bear its sin."
