"إنا كنا نهيناكم عن لحومها أن تأكلوها فوق ¤ ثلاث لكي تسعكم فقد جاء الله بالسعة فكلوا وادخروا واتجروا ألا وإن هذه الأيام أيام أكل وشرب وذكر الله"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, we had forbidden you from eating the meat of the sacrificial animals beyond three days (by storing it) so that it would suffice for all of you. Now Allah Almighty has granted abundance and plenty, so eat it, store it and benefit from it. And listen! Indeed, these days are days of eating, drinking and the remembrance of Allah."
