«إن هذه الحشوش محتضرة فإذا أتى أحدكم الخلاء فليقل: أعوذ بالله من الخبث والخبائث»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, these privies and toilets are places frequented by jinn and devils. So when any one of you goes to the toilet, he should say this supplication: 'A'udhu billahi min al-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith' (I seek refuge with Allah from the male and female evil jinn)."
