«إن من الحنطة خمرا وإن من الشعير خمرا وإن من التمر خمرا وإن من الزبيب خمرا وإن من العسل خمرا وأنا أنهى عن كل مسكر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, wine is made from wheat, wine is made from barley, wine is made from dates, wine is made from raisins, and wine is made from honey; and I forbid (the use of) every intoxicant."
