«إن من أعظم الفرى أن يدعى الرجل إلى غير أبيه أو يرى عينيه ما لم تريا ويقول على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما لم يقل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the greatest of lies are that a person attributes his lineage to someone other than his real father, or makes his eyes see what they did not see (that is, he relates a false dream), or attributes to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) something he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say."
