«إن رجلا ممن كان قبلكم أتاه ملك الموت ليقبض نفسه فقال له: هل عملت من خير؟ قال: ما أعلم قال له: انظر قال: ما أعلم شيئا غير أني كنت أبايع الناس وأحارفهم فأنظر المعسر وأتجاوز عن الموسر فأدخله الله الجنة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the Angel of Death came to a man from among those before you to take his soul, and said to him: 'Have you done any good?' He said: 'I do not recall anything like that.' He was told: 'Think carefully.' He said: 'I cannot think of any good deed, except that I used to trade and do business with people, and I would give respite to the one in hardship and forgive (or be lenient with) the well-off.' So Allah admitted him into Paradise."
