"إن حوضي من عدن إلى عمان البلقاء ماؤه أشد بياضا من اللبن وأحلى من العسل أكاويبه عدد النجوم من شرب منه شربة لم يظمأ بعدها أبدا أول الناس ورودا عليه فقراء المهاجرين: الشعث رؤوسا الدنس ثيابا الذين لا ينكحون المنعمات ولا تفتح لهم ¤ السدد الذين يعطون الحق الذي عليهم ولا يعطون الذي لهم"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, my Pond extends from Aden to Amman of al-Balqa'. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and its drinking cups are as many as the stars. Whoever drinks a single draught from it will never feel thirst after it. The first people to come to it will be the poor among the Muhajirun: those with dishevelled hair and soiled clothes, whom well-off, wealthy women do not marry and for whom the great doors are not opened; those who fulfil the obligations owed by them but are not given what is owed to them."
