«إن بين يدي الساعة الهرج: القتل ما هو قتل الكفار ولكن قتل الأمة بعضها بعضا حتى أن الرجل يلقاه أخوه فيقتله ينتزع عقول أهل ذلك الزمان ويخلف لها هباء من الناس يحسب أكثرهم أنهم على شيء وليسوا على شيء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, before the Hour there will be al-Harj, that is, widespread killing. It will not be the killing of the disbelievers, but rather the Ummah killing one another, to the extent that a man will meet his brother and kill him. The minds of the people of that time will be taken away, and in their place will remain foolish and worthless people, most of whom will think that they are on a right path, whereas they will not be on anything true."
