«إن بني إسرائيل افترقت على إحدى وسبعين فرقة وإن أمتي ستفترق على اثنتين وسبعين فرقة كلها في النار إلا واحدة وهي: الجماعة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the Children of Israel split into seventy-one (71) sects, and indeed my Ummah will soon split into seventy-two (72) sects. All of them will be in the Fire except one, and that is al-Jama'ah (that is, the group that holds firm to the Sunnah)."
