«إن أول من سيب السوائب وعبد الأصنام أبو خزاعة عمرو بن عامر وإني رأيته في النار يجر أمعاءه فيها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the first person to start the custom of setting animals loose in the name of idols, and to worship idols, was Amr bin Amir, the forefather of Banu Khuza'ah, and indeed I saw him in the Fire dragging his intestines."
