«إن الله تعالى يقول: إن الصوم لي وأنا أجزي به إن للصائم فرحتين: إذا أفطر فرح وإذا لقي الله تعالى فجزاه فرح والذي نفس محمد بيده لخلوف فم الصائم أطيب عند الله من ريح المسك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty says: 'Fasting is exclusively for Me, and I Myself will reward it.' The fasting person has two joys: when he breaks his fast he rejoices, and when he meets Allah Almighty he will rejoice at the reward his Lord grants him. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! The smell of the fasting person's mouth is purer and more pleasing to Allah than the fragrance of musk."
