«إن الله وتر يحب الوتر فإذا استجمرت فأوتر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty is Witr (One) and loves what is odd, so when you perform istinja (using clods or stones), use an odd number."
