«إن الله تعالى كتب كتابا قبل أن يخلق السموات والأرض بألفي عام وهو عند العرش وإنه أنزل منه آيتين ختم بهما سورة البقرة ولا يقرآن في دار ثلاث ليال فيقربها الشيطان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty wrote a Book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and it is with the Throne. And He sent down from it two verses with which Surah al-Baqarah was concluded. In whatever house they are recited for three nights, Satan cannot come near that house."
