"إن الله تعالى اطلع على أهل بدر فقال: اعملوا ما ¤ شئتم فقد غفرت لكم"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty looked at the state of the hearts of the people of Badr (those who took part in the Battle of Badr) and said: Do whatever you wish, for I have certainly forgiven you."
