«إن الشيطان إذا سمع النداء بالصلاة أحال له ضراط حتى لا يسمع صوته فإذا سكت رجع فوسوس فإذا سمع الإقامة ذهب حتى لا يسمع صوته فإذا سكت رجع فوسوس»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when Satan hears the call to prayer (adhan), he turns his back and flees passing wind so that he may not hear its sound. Then when the adhan ends, he comes back and whispers. Then when he hears the iqamah, he flees so that he may not hear its sound, and when the iqamah ends, he comes back again and whispers."
