«إن الجذعة تجزي مما تجزي منه الثنية»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, (in sacrifice) a jadha'ah (a young animal of six months to a year) suffices for what a thaniyyah (an animal that has shed its two front teeth) suffices for."
