«إن أخوف ما أخاف عليكم الشرك الأصغر الرياء يقول الله يوم القيامة إذا جزي الناس بأعمالهم: اذهبوا إلى الذين كنتم تراءون في الدنيا فانظروا هل تجدون عندهم جزاء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, what I fear most for you is the lesser shirk, that is, showing off (riya'). On the Day of Resurrection, when people are recompensed for their deeds, Allah Almighty will say: 'Go to those for whom you used to show off in the world, then see whether you find any reward with them.'"
