"إن أحدكم إذا قام يصلي جاء الشيطان فلبس عليه حتى لا يدري كم صلى؟ فإذا وجد ذلك أحدكم فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when any one of you stands to pray, Satan comes and confuses him with whisperings until he does not know how many rak'ahs he has prayed. So when any of you experiences that, let him perform two prostrations (of forgetfulness) while sitting."
