«إن أحدكم إذا قام في صلاته فإنه يناجي ربه وإن ربه بينه وبين القبلة فلا يبزقن أحدكم قبل قبلته ولكن عن يساره أو تحت قدمه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when any one of you stands in his prayer, he is conversing intimately with his Lord, and his Lord is between him and the qiblah, so let none of you ever spit towards his qiblah; rather, let him spit to his left or beneath his foot."
