«اجعلوا بينكم وبين الحرام سترا من الحلال من فعل ذلك استبرأ لعرضه ودينه, ومن أرتع فيه كان كالمرتع إلى جنب الحمى يوشك أن يقع فيه, وإن لكل ملك حمى وإن حمى الله في الأرض محارمه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Place a barrier of the lawful between yourselves and the unlawful. Whoever does that has safeguarded his honour and his religion. And whoever grazes in it (doubtful matters), his example is that of a shepherd who grazes his animals around a protected pasture; they are about to stray into it. Indeed every king has a protected pasture, and indeed Allah's protected pasture on earth is the things He has made unlawful."
