«أما بعد فإنه لم يخف على شأنكم الليلة ولكني خشيت أن يفرض عليكم صلاة الليل فتعجزوا عنها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"To proceed: Your state and eagerness last night were not hidden from me (that you were waiting to pray with me), but I feared that the night prayer (Tarawih) would be made obligatory upon you and that you would then be unable to perform it."
