«أما علمت أن ملكا ينادي في السماء يقول: اللهم اجعل لمال منفق خلفا واجعل لمال ممسك تلفا؟»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do you not know that an angel calls out in the heavens, making this supplication: 'O Allah! Give the one who spends in the way of Allah the best replacement, and bring ruin upon the wealth of the miser'?"
