«أثقل الصلاة على المنافقين صلاة العشاء وصلاة الفجر ولو يعلمون ما فيهما لأتوهما ولو حبوا, ولقد هممت أن آمر بالصلاة فتقام ثم آمر رجلا فيصلي بالناس ثم أنطلق معي برجال معهم حزم من حطب إلى قوم لا يشهدون الصلاة فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم بالنار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The heaviest prayers upon the hypocrites are the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer; and if they knew how much reward lies in these two (prayers), they would certainly come to them, even if they had to come crawling on their knees. And indeed I resolved to order that the prayer be established, then to order a man to lead the people in prayer, then to take with me some men carrying bundles of firewood, go to those people who do not attend the prayer, and burn their houses down upon them with fire."
