«أما علمت أن الإسلام يهدم ما كان قبله وأن الهجرة تهدم ما كان قبلها وأن الحج يهدم ما كان قبله؟»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do you not know that embracing Islam demolishes all the sins that came before it, that emigrating (hijrah) wipes out the sins that came before it, and that performing Hajj also erases all the sins that came before it?"
