«اللهم أمتعني بسمعي وبصري حتى تجعلهما الوارث مني وعافني في ديني وفي جسدي وانصرني ممن ظلمني حتى تريني فيه ثأري، اللهم إني أسلمت نفسي إليك وفوضت أمري إليك وألجأت ظهري إليك وخليت وجهي إليك لا ملجأ ولا منجى منك إلا إليك آمنت برسولك الذي أرسلت وبكتابك الذي أنزلت»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Allah, let me benefit from my hearing and my sight until You make them my heir, grant me well-being in my religion and in my body, and help me against whoever has wronged me until You show me my revenge upon him. O Allah, I have surrendered myself to You, entrusted my affair to You, placed my back under Your support and turned my face towards You. There is no place of refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Messenger whom You sent and in Your Book which You revealed."
