«اللهم اغفر لي خطيئتى وجهلي وإسرافي في أمري وما أنت أعلم به مني اللهم اغفر لي خطئي وعمدي وهزلي وجدي وكل ذلك عندي، اللهم اغفر لي ما قدمت وما أخرت وما أسررت وما أعلنت أنت المقدم وأنت المؤخر وأنت على كل شيء قدير»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Allah, forgive me my sin, my ignorance and my excess in my affairs, and forgive me what You know better than I do. O Allah, forgive me my mistakes, what I did intentionally, my jesting and my seriousness; all of this is present in me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made public. You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who puts back, and You have power over all things."
