«البسوا من ثيابكم البياض فإنها من خير ثيابكم وكفنوا فيها موتاكم وإن من خير أكحالكم الإثمد يجلوا البصر وينبت الشعر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Of your clothes, wear the white ones, for they are among the best of your clothes, and shroud your dead in them as well; and indeed the best of your kohl is ithmid: it sharpens the eyesight and makes the hair (of the eyelashes) grow."
