«اقتلوا الحيات والكلاب واقتلوا ذا الطفيتين والأبتر فإنهما يلتمسان البصر ويسقطان الحبل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Kill snakes and dogs, and especially kill the snake with two white stripes on its back and the short-tailed snake, for these two (through their venom) take away eyesight and cause (women) to miscarry."
