«أفضل المؤمنين إسلاما من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده وأفضل المؤمنين إيمانا أحسنهم خلقا وأفضل المهاجرين من هجر ما نهى الله تعالى عنه وأفضل الجهاد من جاهد نفسه في ذات الله عز وجل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The most excellent of the believers in terms of Islam is the one from whose tongue and hand the other Muslims are safe; the most excellent of the believers in terms of faith is the one whose character is the best; the best emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah Almighty has forbidden; and the best jihad is that a person strives against his own self for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
