Hadith 1
The Sunnah demonstrates the prohibition of transmitting abominable transmissions just as in the example from the Qur’ān regarding the prohibition of the report of the sinful. ¤ There is a famous narration on authority of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, that: ‘Whoever relates on my authority a narration while aware that it is a lie, then he is one of the liars’ . Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated it to us that Wakī narrated to us, on authority of Shu’bah, on authority of al-Hakam, on authority of Abd ir-Rahman ibn Abī Laylā, on authority of Samurah bin Jundab. And also Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us, that Wakī narrated to us, on authority of Shu’bah and Sufyān, on authority of Habīb, on authority of Maymūn ibn Abī Shabīb, on authority of al-Mughīrat ibn Shu’bah, they both said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, said the same thing.
Hadith 5
Muhammad bin ul-Muthannā narrated to us, he said Abd ur-Rahman narrated to us, he said Sufyān narrated to us, on authority of Abī Ishāq, on authority of Abīl-Ahwas, on authority of Abd Illah, he said: ‘It is enough of a lie for a man that he narrates everything he hears’.
Hadith 21
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded that I should fight against people till they declare that there is no god but Allah, and when they profess it that there is no god but Allah, their blood and riches are guaranteed protection on my behalf except where it is justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah, and then he (the Holy Prophet) recited (this verse of the Holy Qur'an):" Thou art not over them a warden" (lxxxviii, 22).
Hadith 49
It is narrated on the authority of Tariq bin Shihab: It was Marwan who initiated (the practice) of delivering Khutbah (address) before the prayer on the 'Id day. A man stood up and said: Prayer should precede Khutbah. He (Marwan) remarked, This (practice) has been done away with. Upon this Abu Sa'id remarked: This man has performed (his duty) laid on him. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue, and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart, and that is the least of faith.
Hadith 55
It is narrated on the authority of Tamim ad-Dari that the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: Al-Din is a name of sincerity and well wishing. Upon this we said: For whom? He replied: For Allah, His Book, His Messenger and for the leaders and the general Muslims.

Hadith 64
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: Abusing a Muslim is an outrage and fighting against him is unbelief. But there is mention of the talk between Zubaid and Abu Wa'il in the hadith narrated by Shu'bah.

One abuses his mother and he in turn abuses his (the former's) mother.
Hadith 106
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr (RA) who narrates that the Prophet (ﷺ) observed: Three are the persons with whom Allah would not speak on the Day of Resurrection: the bestower of gift who does not give anything but by laying obligation on him, the seller of goods who sells them by taking false oath and one who hangs low his lower garment.
Hadith 110
It is narrated on the authority of Thabit bin al-Dahhak that the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) observes: None is obliged to give votive offering (of a thing) which is not in his possession and the cursing of a believer is tantamount to killing him, and he who killed himself with a thing in this world would be tormented with that (very thing) on the Day of Resurrection, and he who made a false claim to increase (his wealth), Allah would make no addition but that of paucity, and he who perjured would earn the wrath of God

When the sun passed the meridian. he gave command to Bilal (RA) who uttered the call to prayer. Then he commanded him and pronounced Iqama for noon prayer. (Then at the time of the afternoon prayer) he again commanded and Iqama for the afternoon prayer was pronounced when the sun was high, white and clear. He then commanded and Iqama for the evening prayer was pronounced, when the sun had set. He then commanded him and when he hears the Iqamah for the night prayer was pronounced When the twilight had disappeared. He then commanded him and when he hears the Iqamah for the morning prayer was pronounced, when the dawn had appeared. When it was the next day, he commanded him to delay the noon prayer till the extreme heat had passed and he did so, and he allowed it to be delayed till the extreme heat had passed. He observed the afternoon prayer when the sun was high, delaying it beyond the time he had previously observed it. He observed the evening prayer before the twilight had vanished; he observed the night prayer when a third of the night had passed; and he observed the dawn prayer when there was clear daylight. He (the Holy Prophet) then said: Where is the man who inquired about the time of prayer? He (the inquirer) said: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) I here I am. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The time for your prayer is within the limits of what you have seen.

Imam Muslim said: Ashja'i narrated it from Sufyan al-Thauri, who narrated it from al-Aswad bin Qais, who narrated it from 'Uqba, who narrated it from al-Bara' bin 'Azib (RA) who said: We recited with the Prophet (ﷺ) (the above-mentioned verse like this, i.e. instead of Salat al- Wusta, Salat al-'Asr) for a certain period.
